Is it possible to mail a coconut

He must have had hell of a lot of time packing and sending all those weird and wacky items. I have worked in the Customs Intelligence Wing here and there have been instances of cocaine being smuggled through post. There are numerous ingenious ways of smuggling them- between book binders, inside walking sticks, inside decorative items etc. Any way as long as there are devious people out there there will always be a lurking danger and we have to be on the look out all the time!! He was obsessed with among many other things - he was also an avid stamp collector islands , and in many of his television programs he travelled to obscure islands across the world.

One episode ended with Buch picking a coconut from the beach and bringing it to the local post office, where it was subsequently send to the director of his television station VARA. I wonder how it is surviving in their archives Stamps themselves have moulds to contend with, imagine a stamp stuck to a coconut He sure is inviting trouble!!

It arrived in the letter box addressed with stamps affixed. It was the coolest thing I've ever received! A display of coconuts mailed to people. Nice commercial usage. Post by jaywalker » Sat Jan 19, am Mounting the display might be a bit difficult Post by jaywalker » Sat Jan 19, am It's not a question of where you grip it, it's a simple matter of weight-ratios The coconut looks good despite the age.

And the stamps look good too. The stamps were tagged on to the coconut- and the coconut itself- the address carved on it how romantic an extract from the article- Mrs. We married in when we were both 19 years old. Post by robertlyon » Fri Mar 08, am Saw this postage related piece of hilarity today and thought I'd share. Did it break any US postal rules I wonder? I'm sure NZ Post would be against sending a sandwich through the post. Re: Does this break postal rules? Correct me if I am wrong, but the article said one could mail coconuts from any post office in Hawaii. If possible, I will be mailing from Honolulu. Where would I find coconuts to mail?

In theory, any U. Post Office should mail a coconut for you, though the ones in Hawaii are more used to doing so. However, only the Molokai post office will provide the coconut. Where in Honolulu to get a coconut to mail, then? That can be a problem.
