Normally I have to re-cast the golem 5 to 10 times and finish the fight with 5 or 6 skellies, having given the merc maybe one or two big red pots. Well, this time the skellies drop like flies, Meph is only half dead I'm down to just the one but luckilly he concentrates on the golem and I manage to re-cast another every few seconds while spamming decrep.
Then everything slows down, ping times drop to 3, and worse and the screen stops refreshing. I check the other screen and all seems well. So I keep casting decrep three times, once a second, then a golem before repeating the process, hoping to survive the lag. Ok, I figure I'll use another keyset so fire up the heavy iron. While I'm waiting for it to boot I gingerly wander around the area I've cleared with the mule, trying to find a TP, with no luck.
Ok, the desktop's booted into Windows, start D2 and, bugger me! I get the restriction message with that keyset too! And I haven't used it for days. I wonder how long this will last?
